Caldwell
Security Feature
Caldwell Securities has implemented strong encryption (128-bit) to protect client information. A high-security web browser is required to access secure areas of Caldwell Securities. To find out if you have 128-bit encryption:

For Internet Explorer (5.5 and above) users:
  • Click on the Help button of your browser.
  • Select About Internet Explorer.
  • If the Cipher Strength does not indicate 128-bit, please click here for downloading instructions.
For Netscape Users:
  • If you are using Netscape 6.0 and above, you will most likely have the 128-bit encryption software installed on your PC. To verify, click on the Help button of your browser. Select About Netscape. The following statement confirms that you have 128-bit ciper strength: "This version supports high-grade (128-bit) security with RSA Public Key Cryptography, DSA, MD2, MD5, RC2-CBC, RC4, DES-CBC, DES-EDE3-CBC." If this does not appear, please click here for downloading instructions.
  • Unfortunately, if you are using a lower version of Netscape, there is no means of quickly finding out the cipher strength installed on your PC.
  • If you'd rather proceed and install the 128-bit encryption software, please click here for downloading instructions.
